at age 78, passed away on January 4, 2023. He was born to the late Joseph P. and Mary S. Krenzer. He is survived by his brother, Richard (Gloria) Krenzer, sister-in-law, Jane Krenzer, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased his brother, John Krenzer.

Joe was a graduate from Caledonia-Mumford Central School where he was a member of FFA and 4-H. He was a life long farmer, raising many prize hogs over the years. In later years, he started growing and showing gladiolus. Joe loved watching high school sports including Caledonia-Mumford boys basketball and football and watching his great nieces play basketball for Perry Central School. As his health started declining, he moved to LeRoy Village Green and was known as the “Mayor” as he knew what everyone was doing and loved to socialize. 

Joe’s life will be celebrated and stories shared at Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main St. Caledonia on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm where his memorial service will be held at 1 pm. Interment St. Columba Cemetery, Caledonia. In memory of Joe, you may consider a gift to Livingston County or Wyoming County 4-H Hog program.
