Obituary for Gloria Shafer (Cinotti)
Passed away at the age of 89. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph and brother, Anthony, loving mother of Joe ”Jay” (Barb), Jerry (Maria), Chris (Beth) and Lou (Christy), loving grandmother (nana) of Sarah (Adam) Gotham, Aaron (Helen Isaacson), Kyle (Paige Baiocchi). Meghan (Nathan Henkle), Maddie, Anna, Abby, and Maggie, and loving great-grandmother to baby boy Gotham. Gloria is also survived by her sister, Marie, Aunt Helen, sister-in-law, Pat, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Gloria was born and raised in Rochester. She moved to Scottsville with her husband, Joe where they raised their 4 boys. Gloria was very involved with her church and community.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, April 7 from 4-7 at Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 Main St. Caledonia. The praying of the Rosary will be at 7:00. Please join us in celebrating Gloria’s life at her funeral mass on Friday, April 8 at 10:00 am at St. Martin de Porres Parish at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 99 Main Street - Scottsville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Gloria’s memory to Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, 399 Fruit Hill Avenue, North Providence, RI 02911 or Patrick Place 2006 Scottsville-Chili Rd., Scottsville, NY 14546.
