John H. Ramsey “Jack”
age 80, of Caledonia, passed away on Saturday June 12, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones. Jack was preceded in death by his sisters, Nancy Murphy and Joanne Prachel. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Gale. He will be deeply missed by his children Michelle (John) Paroda, Stacy Brown, Chris (Joy) Ramsey, and Sean (Danielle Tomasso) Ramsey. He was a proud grandfather of Alex and Max Paroda, Emily, Christopher, and Matthew Brown, Jack and Sophia Ramsey and Gia and Olivia Ramsey. He is also survived by his brothers Gerald (Sue) Lonthair, David (Catherine) Ramsey and sister Marge (Steve) Allen as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jack graduated from Rush-Henrietta High School. He went on to own and operate Rush Hotel and Ramsey's in Henrietta, NY. Later, he decided to make a career change and went to work for Roehlen Engraving where he eventually where he retired. Jack loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. He brought joy and laughter to all whom had the pleasure of knowing him.
Friends may call Friday, June 18, 2021 from 4-7 P.M. at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main St., Caledonia. His Funeral Service will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Pinnacle Lutheran Church, 250 Pinnacle Rd., Rochester, NY 14623. Private interment.
