Obituary for Richard M. Futter
CALEDONIA - at the age of 84, passed away on September 27,2020. He was preceded in death by his wife June (FitzGibbon) Futter.
Richard is survived by his, sons Timothy Futter and Jeffrey Futter of Colorado, Gregory Futter of Florida and daughter Suellen Bresciani (Robert) of Colorado. He is also survived by grandchildren, Anthony, John, and Gianna Bresciani, Colt Futter and great
grandchild Susie June Bresciani all of Colorado brother Lawrence Futter (Angela) of Vernon, NY, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
Richard was born in Dansville NY and attend York school. As a youth he worked on farms and never lost his love of animals especially horses and the farming community in Western NY.
He spent many hours of his retirement cruising the country roads, talking to farmers and feeding horses.
He worked for Lakelands Concrete Co in Lima NY for over 40 years.
He had many many friends in and around Caledonia, Colorado and Massachussetts. He enjoyed joking with them in a kind manner. He was quick witted and funny.
Richard loved animals and children. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family, especially his furry four legged friend Buddy.
Family and Friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service Saturday October 3, 2020 at 2 PM at St. Columba Cemetery State St. Caledonia
