Obituary for Leon J. Kransler Jr.
Unexpectedly on September 1, 2020. Survived by his loving wife Martha Kransler. Children; Kevin (Sarah) Kransler of Guilderland, NY, Kathryn (Brian) Ribbeck of Clifton, and Sarah (Patrick) Michael of Avon. Grandchildren; Jack, Chase and Maleah Kransler, Emily and Andrew Ribbeck, Reid and Preston Michael. Sister, Jean (Dan) Bresnan of Canandaigua. Brothers; Bruce Kransler of Farmington, and Bryan (Melanie) Kransler of Farmington. Father-In-Law Frank Popowich of Churchville. Several Nieces and Nephews. Predeceased by his parents Leon Kransler Sr.. and Betty Kransler.
Friends and Family may call Sunday from 3-6 PM. at the Alhart Funeral Home 3068 W. Main St. Caledonia. Service and Interment will be held privately. The funeral home will be operating at limited capacity per state guidelines, New York State Requires those in attendance to adhere to these guidelines including to those related to social distancing and face coverings.

Leon was originally from Canandaigua. During college at SUNY Geneseo he met his wife of 46 years, Martha. In 1978 they settled in Caledonia. Leon is retired from Xerox. He liked to swim, fix things, taking care of his grandkids, loved all history, and read.
