SCOTTSVILLE - Monika passed away March 5th 2020 at age 72 with family by her side. She was predeceased by long time friend Donald E. Moore II, parents Larry and Elsbeth Fortner, and nephew Alex Montalbano. She is survived by daughters and son in laws Regina (Garry Hein) Bliss, Renate and Eugene Goff, son and daughter in law Larry and Lisa LaRose, and siblings Renate( Joe) Kennedy, Linda( Rick )Grattan. Brenda (Tony) Montalbano and Mark (Becky) Fortner, and special friend Ralph A LaRose. Monika leaves behind 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Monika was caring, carefree, and giving. She was proud of her time as Sunday school teacher, Carnival Queen, and skydiving student. She enjoyed painting, drawing, crafting, taking long drives, nature, shopping, and spending time with her family. Her fun and sparkling nature will greatly be missed.
