Obituary for Rosemary Clark Bardeen Litteer

Rosemary Clark Bardeen Litteer
MUMFORD – Born July 17,1932 – caught her train to heaven January 16, 2019. She was the last of her siblings. Predeceased by her husbands Harold L. Bardeen and Harold H.
Litteer, grandson Jerry Bardeen, daughter Deborah McHargue. She leaves her children
Gary(Kathy)Bardeen, Gretchen(Gary)Hartford, Charlotte(Joe DiMartino)Gardner,
Diane(Mike Hofbauer)Pope, Ronald(Kim)Bardeen, Keith(Sue)Bardeen, step-children
Phil(Terri) Litteer, Harold(Kathy)Litteer Jr, Jeff Litteer, and an abundance of adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren with lots of treasured memories. Numerous nieces and nephews. Rosemary touched so many lives and has left so many wonderful memories with many. She was a very strong woman and raised her 7 children on her own after her husband was killed in a horrible auto accident when her children were very young. Her focus was her children as she made sure she worked very near home and did not remarry until all the children were grown. Rosemary will be greatly missed by so very many but we will be comforted knowing that she is getting her well deserved rest. She was so happy that she was able to attend her first great-granddaughter’s wedding in September. It gave her the opportunity to see everyone. Mom was ready to go home and her main concern was that her seat on the train to heaven be reserved. We told her it was guaranteed. She knew she did a great job and helped her family to be strong and loving. She knew she taught us to be family. Thank you Mom, Gramma, Great Gramma, friend for giving all. We love you.

Visitation Friday January 25 from 4-7pm at Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 West Main Street., Caledonia. Her Celebration of life will be held, Saturday January 26 at 11am at Mumford First Baptist Church 5 Dakin Street, Mumford N.Y. 14511. Donations in Rosemary’s memory to Mumford First Baptist Church.
