Caledonia, NY: Unexpectedly on October 8, 2015. Age 66. Predeceased by her parents John and Martha (Stepanovich) Latzy. She is survived by her loving and
devoted husband of 39 years, Gerald English. Dear sister of Jack (Lois) Latzy of West Chester, OH; Kristina Hubbell of Fairfax, VA and Elizabeth (Steve) Claytor of
West Chester, OH. Cousins Bonnie (Walt) Meyers of Chillicothe, OH and Teri Boz of Columbus, OH. Cherished aunt of 4 nephews and 3 nieces.
Beatrice graduated from Steubenville HS and was employed by the FBI (finger print division) and the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police before Joining the
National Weather Service. While with the NWS she was stationed at Kansas City, MO; Dodge City, KS; Cheyenne, WY (where she met and married Gerald) and
Bismarck, ND.
When Gerald was transferred to Rochester, NY, Beatrice continued her education earning a AAS at Monroe Community College, a BS in meteorology at SUNY
Brockport and a MS in Climatology at The Ohio State University. She was briefly employed by WOKR-13 and for several years was a Lecturer in the Earth Sciences
Department at SUNY Brockport.
Bea enjoyed long walks in Oatka Park, weaving, quilting, embroidery, B&W movies, reading and weather.
No prior calling. Private interment at Linwood Cemetery in Dubuque, IA at a future date. In lieu of flowers support your local library.
